A website about our parish would not be complete without some mention of our Parish School, situated on Rowland Way, Lees. Although the school is now situated some distance from the Church, the close relationship which existed when the school was just "downstairs" from the Church has been maintained. The school is very much an integral part of the parish and the community.
The school, with attached Nursery Unit, offers a quality Catholic education. Devoted staff provide a warm and welcoming learning environment.

A reminder of the new admissions criteria:
Admissions to both the school and its nursery unit will be made in accordance with parental choice subject to the following criteria in order of priority:

Roman Catholic children whose parents are part of the worshipping community of the parish of St. Edward's Lees by their regular attendance at Sunday Mass.

Roman Catholic children whose parents are part of the worshipping community of the parish of Sacred Heart, Uppermill by their regular attendance at Sunday Mass

Roman Catholic children resident in the parish of St. Edward's, Lees
-
Roman Catholic children resident in the parish of Sacred Heart Uppermill
-
Roman Catholic children having a brother or sister currently in the school
-
Other Roman Catholic children.
Parents may register their child for admission to St. Edward's School at any time
